As we look back on the last twelve months, we are filled with gratitude and pride for the tremendous progress made toward opening the doors of the new Wags & Whiskers J. Davidson Adoption Center. This past year has been defined by hard work, generosity, and an unwavering belief in our mission to provide a safe and loving haven for animals in need. Thanks to the dedication of our board members, volunteers, and community partners, we are closer than ever to making this shelter a reality.

As of May, 2026, the interior of the building is complete!  The final piece of the puzzle is the installation of our driveway and parking lot.  

​

As we wait patiently to finish our exterior (please help us, Mother Nature!), we continue to raise funds to purchase additional dog kennels, vaccinations, food, and supplies so that we are ready to open when permitted to do so.

As we enter the final stages of construction and preparation, we are asking our community to stand with us once more. To officially open the shelter, we urgently need:
